Kyleakin Amateur Football Club
Kyleakin Amateur Football Club is a member of the Skye & Lochalsh Football Association and affiliated to the S.A.F.A. We run a senior football team participating in the local Bagshaw league which runs from April to September. The club A.G.M. is held in January with training usually starting in February, membership is open to all. Although the senior team generally involves players from the age of about 16 we also support junior/primary teams and the over 40's team.

Kyleakin Community Hall
The Kyleakin Community Hall Committee is a registered charity (SC026949) and was formed in 1997 to establish a new Hall for the community. When the new Hall was eventually opened in 2002 the aims of the committee changed to that of maintenance and management of the Community Hall, providing facilities for voluntary groups and inhabitants, for activities promoted by the committee. Membership is open to all, the committee meets monthly and the A.G.M is held in May.

Skye and Lochalsh Association for Disability (SLAD) was founded in 1981, and is a registered Scottish Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee. We operate a day centre for adults with learning/physical disabilities called Kyleakin Connections. Our aim is to encourage independent living for people with learning/physical disabilities and to help develop their independence and to lead ordinary, fully inclusive lives within the community. We offer a safe environment where people can come together to learn new skills and improve existing skills. The Association encourages and supports independent living and life skills for people with Learning & Physical Disabilities, we are a Scottish Charity who have been working in Skye & Lochalsh since 1981.
South Skye Junior Shinty Club is a primary school age club covering the four schools in the south of Skye; Broadford, Elgol, Kyleakin and Sleat. Training sessions are held at Kyleakin Community Hall every Thursday evening during term time. Boys and girls play together and new members are always welcome at any age group.
P1 & P2 train from 4.30pm to 5.00pm
P3 to P5 train from 5.00pm to 6.00pm
P6 to P7 train from 6.00pm to 7.00pm
The P1 - 2 session costs just £0.50 and from P3 up it is £1.00 and is paid on the night. During the winter and during adverse weather we train indoors and outside in the summer.
We encourage all kids to wear shin guards for every session indoors and outdoors as well as the appropriate sports clothing and footwear (trainers indoors and moulded stud boots outdoors). If children have their own camans and helmets we also encourage them to use these, however the club does have a supply of these for those who don't yet have their own kit. Please remember for indoor sessions we use the plastic first shinty camans and outdoors we use the traditional wooden camans.

Strath and Sleat Church of Scotland
There are Sunday services in each area of our parish: Kyleakin at 12 noon, Broadford at 10.15am and Kilmore (Sleat) 11.00am
There are services on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at Elgol at 6pm.
There is a Fellowship meeting in Kyleakin Church Hall each Sunday, (except the last Sunday) at 6pm.
A meeting for prayer is held each Tuesday at 7.30pm in Kyleakin Church Hall.
Sunday Schools are held for children of primary school age.
